A tapestry is created from the back side. The artist works from behind and sees the mess, the hanging threads, the transitions, etc. The world sees the polished, finished looking front, even while it’s in process. A perfect metaphor for our lives and our work. We are the creators of our lives, we not only see the mess, we live in it. The world, looking in, has a very different perspective.
